The Charming Angkor Resort & Spa was the perfect hotel for my first time visiting Siem Reap in Cambodia. This adorable boutique accommodation made my solo travels here so easy – from the free airport transfer and included breakfasts, to being in the perfect location near everything I wanted to explore in Siem Reap.
The staff were extremely friendly – in fact all the locals I met in Cambodia were! I spent 4 days in Siem Reap exploring ancient temples, browsing street markets, and soaking in the sunshine.
Hotel Location
The hotel is located in the Wat Bo Village of Siem Reap Town. Only a 20 minute drive from the airport and a 5 minute walk into the heart of the city. In Siem Reap city you can find shopping, bars and eateries and local ancient temples to explore.
The accommodation is also only a 20 minute drive to Angkor Wat – Siem Reap’s most popular temple and a must-see if you’re visiting.
Rooms
Each room has its own attached balcony with a view of either the garden or the pool, as well as air con, a stone soaking tub, and a rainfall shower.
Hotel Amenities
Outdoor Pool
By far my favorite part of the Charming Angkor Resort & Spa – Because the pool is serene and makes for the perfect place to unwind and escape that mid-day heat.
Spa
I opted to get a massage at their spa during my stay, and hotel guests get discounted services for staying at the resort. Services include: deep-tissue massage, hot stone massage, and Thai massage.
