You have probably already heard of the world-renowned Blue Lagoon, but have you heard of this newer geothermal pool?

SKY LAGOON

Sky Lagoon is located right in Reykjavík and is one of the newer attractions in the area. This geothermal lagoon opened in April 2022 and is only a 10-minute drive from the city center.

Not to mention, it’s located right on the coastline, so you can enjoy your soak here while overlooking the ocean 🌊✨

Sky Lagoon offers a swim-up bar, showers and changing rooms, and dining - So you can easily spend an entire day here.

Iceland was such a great trip but 4 days (and 5 hours of daylight) wasn’t enough time for me!

If I could do it again, I would love to visit during the summer months, rent a car to drive myself around the island, and experience the Midnight Sun 😍☀️

Has anyone here seen the Midnight Sun for themselves? This and the Northern Lights are both still on my bucket list, so I guess I’ll just have to go back 🤷🏼‍♀️✈️

If you’re into cool views, sunrises, and adding more destinations to your bucket list, then you’ve come to the right place!

I have been offline for about 2 years so it’s been a while since I’ve reintroduced myself - Hey! I’m Rylie. 🤗

I began blogging back in 2017 as a way to showcase my photography and inspire others to see the world.

I started with solo traveling on a budget and took a gap year from working full-time to explore a lot of SE Asia. These days, I’m working full-time as a travel agent and balance the 9-5 while planning my next weekend adventures and how to best utilize my PTO ✈️

My original goal was to try and visit 30 countries before 30. But you know, sh*t happens… So now it’s 35 before 35 😂

I’ve been to 13 countries so far - So we’ve got a ways to go in the next 5 years!

Still have quite the extensive travel bucket list, so I will be sharing plenty of destinations guides and travel inspo both within the United States and internationally. In the US, I still have a lot of National Parks and hot springs on my list 💭

Reykjavík is Iceland’s capital city and can easily be explored in a quick trip to the country. The city center offers many of Iceland’s main attractions and has something for everyone - from geothermal pools to sightseeing and day trips.

Be sure to add these to your Reykjavik itinerary:

SIGHTSEEING
- Take a stroll down Rainbow Street
- Visit the Hallgrimskirkja Church
- Shop along Laugavegur Street
- Visit the Perlan Museum, Wonders of Iceland
